CSA & U-Pick Program

"Discover the advantages of farm fresh food today! "

Farm fresh food has more vitamins and minerals than food that is stored, then sold in supermarkets.  Those nutritional benefits boost the health and well being of you and your family.  Additionally, you’re able to develop a relationship with the farmer who grows your food, while you and your family or organization can learn more about how food is grown.  Exposure to new types of food, and preparation or preservation techniques can be invaluable experiences for both children and adults.

At Greenville Farms, you have the opportunity to experience all of this with our Community Supported Agriculture; U-Pick Program.  For only $500 per year, you have the choice of either a pre-picked selection of the freshest produce available, or the option of picking fruits, vegetables, flowers or herbs here at Greenville Farms.  The advantage of receiving your food directly from the farm, means you’re eating the finest quality and freshest produce and free range eggs available.

Just think of it, instead of eating supermarket produce that has been waiting in warehouses and preserved by chemicals or plastics, you could have fresher and nutritionally superior food picked for you.  In fact, if you’re the picky type, why not pick nature’s perfect food yourself?

Greenville Farms U-Pick Program is designed for a family of four to be able to can, freeze and eat freshproduce for an entire year.  Annual membership fee is $500.  Members will have the opportunity to pick fresh vegetables and fruit throughout the season, or pre-prepared food boxes ready for you to pick up.  Quantities will be enough to prepare for a full year for a family of four.  Canning and washing facility will be available to all members.  Equipment needed for preserving fruits and vegetables will be furnished such as sinks, stoves, pressure canners, water bath, crocks and dehydrators.  So you can take the heat and mess out of your kitchen and leave it at the farm!  Too busy to pick? We have farm staff ready to pick for you!

Farm Policy at Greenville Farms

We strive to follow sustainable farming practices.  Greenville farms raises different types of vegetables, fruits, and animals which are rotated around the fields to enrich the soil and help prevent  disease and pest outbreaks.  No chemical pesticides are used other than organic.  Greenville Farms animals are treated humanely and are well cared for.  They are permitted to carry out their natural  behaviors, such as grazing, rooting or pecking and are fed a natural diet appropriate for the type of animal.

At Greenville Farms we focus on growing vegetables that are most familiar to you.  However, we enjoy introducing our members to items they may not have tried before.  We raise over 40 different kinds of vegetables and fruits, including many different varieties of flowers and herbs.  We love experimenting with new crops, testing how well different fruits and vegetables thrive in our unique Oregon climate.  Our harvest is dictated in part by the season’s weather.
